Week 3 Results

Week 3 was a familiar foe. That foe was the weather and the condition of the golf course. For the third straight week Mother Nature flexed her muscle. A saturated course along with sustained winds of 20 mph with gusts of 25 mph made proper club selection and scoring a foreign thing to the majority of the guys.

Even in the harsh conditions, there was one player that did not seemed to be bothered by the things that there were no control over. Congratulations is in order for Robert Bilbrew. Week 3 was Robert's first official event with AGMG. Robert tamed the elements better than everyone in the field and as a result, he blistered the field by a whopping 8 strokes. He was the only player to break 90 for the round as he gets his first AGMG win. Group 2 which comprised

of Robert Bilbrew, Carvette Kitchens, Ron Sayles, and Quiency

Bradley were the only group in which every player shot under 50 at the turn.

The season's first big event is next on the slate. The first Warrior's Cup event is next up and there are a lot guys who's golf game is not trending in the right direction as AGMG head to Quail Hollow in McComb. Quail Hollow is not a course that welcomes fragile confidence and a shaky golf game.
